 Youth Development

The Club funded many wholesome youth activities and projects to nurture youth development in positive ways so as to help society progress towards a better future

  • launched in 2005 P.A.T.H.S. to Adulthood: A Jockey Club Youth Enhancement Scheme, through which about 213,000 Hong Kong’s secondary school students were guided to uphold proper values and attitudes, and assume greater responsibilities, thereby helping them to overcome the challenges and temptations that arise as they grow up

  • supported the establishment of Jockey Club MaD (Make a Difference) School and the city’s first community-based, comprehensive new media hub HKFYG Jockey Club Media 21 to encourage youths to think out of the box and help them realise their creative ideas

  • launched in 2012 the JC Youth Football Development Programme, which consists of six different projects to help local youngsters at different skill levels, from general to elite, to further develop their abilities
