Since 1998, the Club has awarded talented students HK$200 million through The HKJC Scholarship Scheme to help them realise their dreams.

Thanks to a grant from the HKJC Scholarship Scheme in 2008, Szeto Kin was able to live his dream of studying and developing a career in music, in spite of his humble background and doubts raised by his family. Inspired by the Club’s charitable mission, he has now established his own volunteer group to lend a hand to others in need.

The HKJC Scholarship Scheme was set up in 1998, providing about 27 scholarships per year, and has since helped many students realise their dreams, while encouraging them to give back to society through community service projects organised by the Jockey Club Scholars Alumni Association.
