 Family Services

The Club has been a strong supporter of family services for many years, helping families build healthier and happier lives, and fostering a more harmonious society.

  • donated HK$250 million in 2008 and took the lead in launching a citywide family research and public education project named FAMILY: A Jockey Club Initiative for a Harmonious Society in collaboration with the School of Public Health of The University of Hong Kong

  • donated HK$6.7 million to the International Social Service Hong Kong (ISS-HK) for the establishment of Luohu Cross-boundary Students Service Centre and a three-year programme providing support to cross-boundary families

  • supported the Against Child Abuse Ltd for its Child Safety Networking Project and Healthy Start Home Visiting Project

  • supported the Harmony House for the setting up of its Jockey Club Harmony Link to provide assistance to victims of domestic violence

  • donated to The University of Hong Kong for the setting up of Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention with a commitment to developing effective suicide prevention research and providing training to front-line professionals
